This policy explains what Gethealthboost does with personal information collected through gethealthboost.com - what we gather, why we gather it, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to everyone who visits the site, whether or not an order is placed.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, telephone number, shipping address and billing address.
• Order details: the products bought, order history, delivery status and any correspondence with our support team.
• Technical data gathered automatically: IP address, browser and device type, device identifiers, the pages viewed, the page that referred you and the time of each visit.

We ask for what an order needs and no more. Nothing on the site requires you to supply information beyond that.

2. Payment information

Card payments are handled by Shopify Payments in line with PCI-DSS standards. Full card numbers and payment credentials are never stored on our servers and are not visible to our staff. What reaches us is the confirmation that an order was paid for, along with the billing name and address needed to fulfil and account for it.

3. Why we use it

• To take, fulfil and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To answer your messages and provide customer support.
• To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised transactions.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To send marketing emails, only where you have opted in, and only until you opt out.

4. Who else sees it

Personal information is shared only with the service providers that make the shop function, and only with the part of it they need:

• The e-commerce platform that hosts the store and processes orders.
• Shopify Payments and any associated payment provider, to take the payment.
• The shipping carriers that deliver your parcel.
• Analytics providers that report on site traffic and performance.

We may also disclose information where the law, a regulation or a legal process requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our property or the safety of others. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties for marketing purposes, and we never have.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies to keep a cart together between pages, remember your preferences and measure traffic. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the store, including the cart and the checkout, depend on them and may stop working correctly if they are blocked.

6. How long we keep it

Order and contact records are kept for as long as needed to complete the order, support you afterwards, resolve any dispute and satisfy tax and accounting rules. Once none of those apply, the data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and all traffic between your browser and the store is encrypted with SSL/TLS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
• Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, through the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.

9. California residents (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you additional rights:

• Right to know - the categories and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to delete - deletion of your personal information, subject to the legal exceptions that allow us to keep records of a completed transaction.
• Right to opt out - we do not sell personal information. Should that ever change, a clear opt-out mechanism will be published here first.
• Right to non-discrimination - exercising a privacy right will never affect the price you pay or the service you receive.

10. Children

This store is intended for adults. We do not direct the site at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and it will be deleted promptly.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any new version is posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the site after that date means the revised policy applies.
