Set the item on the spindle, press start, and the machine turns it against the blade until the skin is off. It handles firm vegetables such as potatoes and carrots, and the motor is controlled enough to take on soft items like grapes and garlic without shredding them.
A built-in lithium battery means no cord and no socket - it works on a kitchen counter, at the dining table or outdoors at a campsite, and recharges between uses. The main parts detach, so cleaning is a rinse rather than a job, and a stable base with a safety catch keeps it steady and quiet while it runs.
