A weighted stopper for a bottle that is not going to be finished tonight. The head is a faceted faux white crystal on a metal collar; below it sits a silicone seal that grips the inside of the neck and closes it properly.
The seal is inert, so it does not interact with what is in the bottle - wine, champagne, beer or a soft drink all keep their character while the bottle is shut. It measures 4 cm x 8.7 cm (1.57 x 3.43 in), pushes in by hand and pulls out the same way, and it is made to be used again rather than thrown out.
